By adding a carbon-like conductive additive to the non-woven veil have an electrically conductive veil that will create heat when electricity is put through it.

It was a giant leap to go to heating innovations for the composite industry.

The heated veil works so well that it works both at low voltages — below 100 Volt — and high (230+ Volts). And it can reach up to 2kW/m2 of power.

This power and variable voltages make a wide range of applications possible, like de-icing of floor plates, heating of tooling systems, and curing of bonding connections of Glass Fiber Epoxy pipes, just to name a few.

One of the most important developments within this project as it is suitable to be impregnated with polyester and epoxy resin systems and retain the conductive properties.
