A three-dimensional glass mat consisting of a PP core sandwiched between two layers of CSM. This sandwich core materials is specifically designed for the closed moulding process using techniques such as RTM & VIP for the production of fire resistant FRP composite parts.

450/PP250/450 is a high-permeability glass fiber fabric for the production of composite parts by infusion or RTM (injection).

It is produced with two layers of 450 g/m2 Glass Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) and a 250 g/m2 nonwoven polypropylene yarn (pp core mat) that improves and accelerates the flow of the resin through the fabric in closed mould applications.

Suitable for thermosetting resins such as polyester, vinyl ester or urethane acrylate.

Packaging

Each roll is wrapped around a 77 mm (3 in.) ID cardboard tube, individually wrapped with polyethylene plastic film, placed in a carton, and individually labeled for identification.

One carton per roll, usually stacked vertically on pallets, 9 or 12 cases per pallet.

The product should be stored in a cool and dry condition.
