Revolutionize Your Manufacturing Process with RTM

Resin transfer Molding (RTM) is a liquid molding process in which thermosetting resins are injected into a closed cavity for the production of a moderately sized half structure and appearance components.

Continuous fiber mat, glass cloth, plied roving preformed material, surface felt, chopped strand felt and direct yarn preformed material can be used as reinforcing material of resin transfer molding.

In the resin transfer molding, the dry fiber reinforced material is placed in the lower half die of the die, closed mode sealing, with the pump slowly into the resin, resin soaked reinforced material solidified into composite components, such as truck parts and electrical cabinets.

This process requires less pressure than the molding process, so the total cost of the die and equipment is lower than that of the high yield molding process, but higher than the open mold process.
