Flow Mat: Customizable Multi-Layered Solutions with Woven Roving, Unidirectional, or Multiaxial Fabric

The Flow Mat is a fiberglass sandwich mat that consists of a polypropylene non-woven core and chopped strands stitched together mechanically, forming two layers of 300gsm chopped strand mat with a 250g/m2 PP core.

It is ideal for use in closed mold processes and can help to enhance productivity and quality. The Flow Mat can be used in a range of applications, including bus roofing, wind blades, boats, truck bodies, windmills, and more.

This material is a closed mold process material that includes a polypropylene center layer (flow medium) sandwiched between two layers of chopped strand mat. It is known for its excellent drapability and stretchability, as well as its ability to quickly and evenly impregnate with resin.

It is primarily used for thin laminates and can be used in processes such as RTM, RTM light, and VIP core infusion.
