PAN Surface Veil, a surfacing veil mat from Dymriton, is a 60 grams mat of polyacrylonitrile. The standard width is 1.10 m, other widths is available on request.

It prevents fibre print through from glass fibers, and also prevents water osmosis. Supplied by Dymriton.

PAN surface Veil, a synthetic surfacing veil, can be used in combination with a gel coat or as a top layer without a gel coat. If painted, less treatment is necessary.

PAN surfacing Veil is ideally suited for the RTM (light) process and other closed molding processes, including Vacuum infusion.

PAN surface tissue is applied right against the Gelcoat in an infused laminate. It reduces fiber print through conjunction with other reinforced materials applied against the skin coat.

The refraction index of PAN Surface Veil fibres is the same as the refraction of polyester resin. This means that PAN veils are not visible in the polyester resin.
