Superior Composite DymFlow Mat: Stitch-Free, Clean Corners, High Resiliency.
DymFlow includes a unique fiber that serves as a surface layer. This layer is made up of a precise amount of low melt fiber that can be re-activated without impacting the resin flow, mechanical properties, or surface finish of the final product.
The mat is available in various weights and thicknesses, providing the highest productivity with the best surface finish quality.
Our innovative technology makes DymFlow an excellent choice for the Preform process, which uses infrared light as a heating system and vacuum. The mat can easily shape into the contours of the mould, allowing for quick and precise placement during fiber layup, without the need for further tucking of the fiber when creating precise corners.
“ADVANTAGES:“
DymFlow mat does not require stitching, resulting in a better final appearance of parts. It allows for clean corners to be easily and efficiently achieved in a mould.
Components are fixed without the use of chemical binders, which eliminates the risk of negative reactions with the styrene in resins.
The high resiliency of DymFlow mat helps to balance out any imperfections in the mould, resulting in parts with a consistent thickness.
When overlapping composite materials, DymFlow mat allows for clean splicing.
Parts made with DymFlow mat will have clean, finished edges without any fraying.
The absence of a continuous stitch means that excess mat can be easily removed from the mould without the need for cutting, saving valuable lay-up time.
“Characteristics of Polyester Core:“
Offers improved resiliency, resulting in better performance and durability of the composite material.
Allows for increased volume with equivalent weight, resulting in lighter and more efficient products.
Exhibits excellent compatibility with Polyester resin. Enables efficient resin flow during the production process, ensuring consistent quality and reducing the risk of defects.
Depending on the specific requirements of the application and mould cavity, the weight of the polyester core and chopped fiberglass layers can be adapted to achieve the desired characteristics. The weight of the core can be adjusted between 110g/m2, 150g/m2, and 200g/m2, while the weight of the chopped fiberglass layers can range from 150g/m2 to 900g/m2. This flexibility allows for the creation of customized composite materials tailored to specific needs.
