Revolutionary No Stitching RTM Mat: Unleash Fire-Resistant Excellence

Dymriton Composites is a new company established in 2015. Being a new company, we are striving to set our products apart from the competition.

Dymriton has developed a new fiberglass mat: DymFlow, The mat features a five-layer structure consisting of glass staple fiber mats on the front and back, with a polyester core(PP180/PP250) in the middle layer. The out 2 layer are polyester veil by needle punched together, without stitching yarn combined together. The weight of the core and glass fiber can be adjusted as needed.

One of our unique selling points is that DymFlow does not use stitching or binders, which was mentioned earlier. The use of Low Melt polyester Fiber as a replacement for stitching and binding does not compromise the resin curing, flow, mechanical properties, or appearance.

The absence of stitching and binding makes it easy to adjust the shape and weight of the product, while also resulting in a visually appealing molded appearance. Additionally, the length of the fibers used in DymFlow ranges from 50 to 200 mm, which is expected to result in reasonably high mechanical properties.

By using the material introduced in DymFlow, FRP products not only become easy to shape and cost-effective, but the base material’s thickness and the fiber orientation’s randomness provide additional functionality beyond just weight reduction.

DymFlow specifically designed for RTM molding without the need for stitching or chemical binders. It is ideal for applications where durability, coloring, and flexible shapes are necessary, such as playsets, pools, and building materials.

DymFlow can be utilized in a variety of manufacturing processes, including RTM, RTM Light, Press, Infusion, and Preform. This versatile material can be applied to create products for a range of industries, including water slides and sports equipment, marine transportation, automotive components, urban furniture, windmill cabinets, and architectural structures.

Dymriton also offers a fire-resistant version of the mat, called DymFlow FR, thanks to the use of fire-retardant polyester fiber. which utilizes FR polyester fiber to meet French standard NFF16101. Both products offer excellent performance and are ideal for a range of industrial and commercial applications.

DymFlow FR is a fire retardant material achieved by using FR polyester fiber and Resin 9038 (Reichold), meeting the M1 requirements of the French standard NFF16101.

DymFlow FR is produced using the same principles as DymFlow, without chemical binders or stitching, ensuring high-quality components.

APPLICATIONS:

DymFlow Mat is a preferred choice for manufacturers who require fire retardant properties to meet the international standards in the rail industry. Our unique FR core eliminates the need for a heavier and costlier glass fiber core that is commonly used in FR applications.

The DymFlow Mat FR is suitable for various products conforming to European norm EN 45545-HL2 and North American Standards ASTM E 162 / E 662.

In addition to DymFlow Mat FR, we offer DymFlow combi for use in RTM, Hand Lay-up, and Infusion processes in various industrial applications, marine sector, automotive sector, and windmill industry.
