NONWOVEN COMBINATION FABRIC

Brief

Dymix consists of multiple layers of chopped and continuous fiber reinforcement for specific applications.

It is produced according to customer specification, fixed with an integrated veil, and contains the following elements:

– Polypropylene Flow Layer.
– Continuous fiber reinforcement (Bi-directional, Bi-axial, Woven).

CHARACTERITICS

Dymix is composed of two categories:

Dymix-WR: Woven roving as reinforcement.
Dymix – MX: Glass multiaxial fabric as reinforcement.
Mat meets hand-lay up, compress moud, pultrusion, filament winding, and RTM/LRTM, infusion vacuum.
Application in boats, vessels, windsurfing, wakeboarding, kayak, jet-ski, wind blades., etc.

Dymix-WR

Layer 1: Synthetic integrated veil 30-50 g/m2.
Layer 2: Fiberglass 0-900 g/m2.
Layer 3: Woven roving 400-1000 g/m2.
Layer 4: PP flow layer 110-300 g/m2.
Layer 5: Fiberglass 0-900 g/m2.
Layer 6: Synthetic integrated veil 30-50 g/m2.

Dymix-MX

Layer 1: Synthetic integrated veil 30-50 g/m2.
Layer 2: Fiberglass 0-900 g/m2.
Layer 3: Glass Multiaxial reinforcement 400-1000 g/m2.
Layer 4: PP flow layer 110-300 g/m2.
Layer 5: Fiberglass 0-900 g/m2.
Layer 6: Synthetic integrated veil 30-50 g/m2.

FEATURES

Dymix is not stitched providing a better visual appearance of parts. Clean corners within a mould can be easily achieved quickly and efficiently.
Components are fixed without chemical binders which could react with the styrene found in resins.
Parts will have finished edges clean and free of fraying.
Efficient application saving time and resources.
