“Woven Roving Combi Mat:“
One of their most popular offerings is the Woven Roving Combi Mat, which is made up of multiple layers, with the most common configuration consisting of a layer of woven roving stitched together with mats cut into strands. This results in a laminate with enhanced strength and stiffness, while the underlayment creates a smooth surface finish.
These products are highly effective at increasing laminate thickness and stiffness, with their simple layout and excellent wetting properties allowing for increased productivity. They are also compatible with a range of resin types, offering greater versatility.
For optimal storage, it is recommended to store the composites in a cool, dry place with a temperature range of 10-35°C and relative humidity of 35-75%. If stored at temperatures below 15°C, it is recommended to leave the product in the workshop for at least 24 hours before use.
“RTM Flow Mat:“
RTM Flow Mat is a specialized material designed for closed molding processes. It is made up of three layers, consisting of two layers of chopped glass mats with a synthetic layer(PP180/PP250) sandwiched in between. The synthetic layer helps to evenly distribute resin throughout the glass materials.
This adhesive-free structure provides excellent coverage, easy impregnation, and compatibility with various resins. It is easy to shape and has a high wetting capacity, which increases productivity and helps make production more cost-effective. RTM Flow Mat provides good surface quality, high glass content, and good mechanical properties.
With a tensile strength of 122 MPa, tensile modulus of 900 Pa, and bending strength of 51 MPa, RTM Flow Mat is suitable for use in industrial molded parts of secondary structure and in sandwich structures as the current layer relative to the core. It can also be combined with other reinforcement materials to improve the rheological properties of the reinforcement pack.
