DymFlow FR – FRP Reinforcement Material

DymFlow is a composite mat that includes a special fiber layer serving as a surface tissue. The unique feature of this layer is that it contains a precise amount of low-melt fiber that can be re-activated without impacting the resin flow, mechanical properties, or surface finish of the final product.

For fire retardant applications, DymFlow FR (Fire-resistant) is the perfect solution as it is made with FR polyester fiber and can meet the M1 requirements according to the French standard NFF16101 by using Resin 9038 (Reichold). DymFlow FR follows the same production principles as DymFlow, without any chemical binders or stitching.

Other features of DymFlow include efficient resin flow, better tensile strength, and uniformly reflecting light. It also has a fiber length range of 50mm to 200mm, and the absence of stitching provides a better cosmetic appearance. Components are fixed without any chemical binders that may react with styrene found in resins, making it compatible with various types of resins. It can be preformed using heating and vacuum with a complex profile.

ADVANTAGES:

Components are securely fixed without the use of any chemical binders that could react with the styrene in resins, ensuring a consistent final product.

DymFlow FR’s high resiliency leads to parts with a uniform thickness, compensating for any imperfections in the mould and resulting in a high-quality final product.

The absence of stitching in DymFlow mats ensures a superior visual appearance of parts, with clean corners that can be quickly and easily achieved within the mould.

DymFlow allows for clean splicing when overlapping composite materials, and finished edges are free of fraying.

DymFlow mats are available in various weights and thicknesses, making them highly adaptable to different needs and providing the best productivity and surface finish quality.

Polyester Core:

The polyester core used in our products offers superior compatibility with polyester resin, providing improved resiliency, increased volume with equivalent weight, and efficient resin flow. The weight of the core and chopped fiberglass layers can be adjusted based on the specific requirements of the mold cavity.

Our DymFlow product line features innovative technology that makes it an ideal choice for the Preform process, which utilizes infrared light as a heating system and vacuum. The mat can be easily shaped to fit the contours of the mold, allowing for precise placement during fiber layup. This eliminates the need for additional tucking of the fiber when creating precise corners, resulting in a quicker and more efficient process.
