The DymFlow Mat line of products consists of chopped fiberglass with an integrated veil and a synthetic core sandwiched between two layers. It is accompanied by a polyester flow medium that provides several advantages, including enhanced compatibility with polyester resins, about 5% increased inter-laminar shear strength, better cyclic loading, and superior fire-retardant performance.

DymFlow Mat has available in different variations to meet specific needs:

Standard: includes Dymriton polyester flow media with a standard surface veil, offering good compatibility with polyester resins, improved cyclic loading, and better fire retardant performance.

Superior Finish: has a higher weight surface veil on one side for an even better surface finish.

High Flow: comes with flow media for faster resin flow. 

Combi: has added continuous reinforcement (woven roving or multiaxial) for highly structural parts.

PP: includes polypropylene flow media instead of polyester. 

The recommended process for using DymFlow Mat is RTM, L-RTM, Vacuum Infusion, or other closed mold processes.

The DymFlow Mat range offers several benefits for improved visual appearance and ease of use. It features an incorporated surface veil that reduces print-through, and is stitch-free for a cleaner look. Components can be fixed without chemical binders, and the cut mat has tidy edges without fraying or fibers falling out. This allows for easy achievement of clean corners in molds and clean splicing with no thick overlaps of composite material. The material also has better blister performance, eliminating the need for an added barrier coat. Excess mat can be easily removed by cutting.

DymFlow Mat is available in various weights and thicknesses, providing the highest productivity and surface finish quality. The fiber length can be customized from 50mm to 200mm, and the flow media weight can be adapted from 110g/m2 to 250g/m2. Additionally, an integrated surface veil is available in weights ranging from 10g/m2 to 25g/m2, depending on the required surface finish.
