Polypropylene mats are non-woven mats by needle-punched polypropylene fiber which is very draped able & without chemical binder.
PP mat has a good impregnate property, allowing the resin to flow rapidly through the mold.
Main Application
Polypropylene mat used in close mold process: RTM, Light RTM, and infusion Vacuum.
PP mat was been put as the center layer and covers chopped fibers in up and bottom layer, then stitched with yarn together. It is RTM Flow Mat.
PP mat has also been put on both sides with chopped yarn and/or reinforced mat: Biaxial, Triaxial, quad axial, WR. It is a combination mat for infusion vacuum.
