Brief

Stitched glass fiber mat was produced by 50 mm chopped glass fibers with no chemical binder randomly overlay on the track in even, then stitched with polyester yarn together.

Mat can be combined with nonwoven surfacing veil (glass surfacing veil in wet processing), synthetic core or carbon surfacing veil for enhanced performance as stitched glass fiber combination mat.

CHARACTERITICS

Stitched glass fiber combination mat is a mat stitch-bonded with fiberglass chopped fiber, glass fiber surfacing veil by wet processing. compatible with resin, used in pultrusion, hand lay-up, RTM.

  • Thickness from: 1.6 to 8 mm.

  • Total weight from: 100 to 900g/m2.

  • Width from: 200 to 2800mm or sub multiple cut.

  • Application in boat hulls, laminates, structural shapes, pipes.

  • Reinforcement material: polyester veil, polypropylene mat, glass veil can add as basic components.
